Daniel Barnecoat/Barnecut(t) 183078. Daniel BARNECOAT/BARNECUT(T), son of Daniel BARNECUT and Amelia HARRIS, was born in 1830 in Slade, Liskeard, Cornwall, England and was baptised on 12 December 1830 in Liskeard Parish.

Daniel appeared in the census on 6 June 1841 in Liskeard aged 10. He was living in Gormellick, Liskeard, Cornwall, England in the household of John Toms [25] a Farmer and his family. (HO107/153/10/5913)

Daniel appeared in the census on 30 March 1851 in Trevelmond, Liskeard, Cornwall, England aged 20. His occupation was Shoe Maker Apprentice and he was in the household of William Parkyn [38] a Shoe Maker Master and his family. (HO107/1902/319/27)

Daniel married Mary Consentine HICKS on 20 June 1858 in St Cleer, Liskeard, Cornwall, England.

During the census on 7 April 1861 Daniel [28] whose occupation was Shoe Maker and Mary [32] were living in Tremar, St Cleer, Liskeard. Living with them was their daughter Rhoda [2] and son William H [4 months]. (RG09/1528/99/18)

During the census on 2 April 1871 Daniel [40] whose occupation was Shoe Maker and Mary [45] were still living in Tremar. Living with them were their children Rhoda [12] a Scholar, William [10] a Scholar, Emelia [8] a scholar and Samuel [2]. (RG10/2236/72/21)

Daniel appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 aged 50. His occupation was Shoemaker and he was lodging in the household of Daniel Strike [48] a Coal Miner and his family at 8 Railway Row, Cramlington, Tynemouth, Northumberland, England. (RG11/5093/115/5)

During the census on 3 April 1881 Mary [55] was still living at Tremar. Living with her was her daughter Amelia [18] a Dressmaker, son Samuel [12] a Scholar and her mother Mary Hicks [85] an Annuitant. (RG11/2285/55/25)

During the census on 5 April 1891 Daniel [60] whose occupation was Shoemaker and Mary [65] were living at 2 Store Buildings, Shankhouse Row, Cramlington, Tynemouth, Northumberland, England. (RG12/4235/47/22)

During the census on 31 March 1901 Daniel [70] whose occupation was Shoemaker and Mary [75] were living at 1 Store House Buildings, Shank House. Living with them was their granddaughter Mary A Websell [16] an Apprentice to Dressmaking. (RG13/4811/107/21)

Mary Consentine died on 21 April 1902 in Cramlington.

Daniel died on 3 June 1902 in Cramlington, Northumberland.
