Amelia BARNECUT

184. Amelia BARNECUT, daughter of Daniel BARNECUT and Mary Consentine HICKS, was born on 25 November 1862 in St Cleer.

Emelia appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 aged 8 and she was a Scholar. She was still living with her parents Daniel [40] a Shoe Maker and Mary [45] in Tremar, St Cleer, Liskeard.  Also, in the household were her siblings Rhoda [12], William [10] both of whom were Scholars and Samuel [2].

Amelia appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 aged 18 her occupation was Dress Maker. She was living with her mother Mary [55] and brother Samuel [12] a Scholar in Tremar.  Living with them was her grandmother Mary Hicks [85] an Annuitant.

Amelia married Albert Henry WEBSELL in 1884 in Tynemouth, Northumberland.
