Also, in the household were his siblings Mary A [8], Jane [6], Harriet [3] and Emma [6 months], her grandparents Charles [76] a Cripple and Mary [71] and his uncle Samuel [37] also a Copper Miner.

Charles appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Liskeard aged 14 was living Dranes, Lower Farm, St Neot, Liskeard, Cornwall, England with his parents William [46] a Tin Miner and Elizabeth [46]. Also in the household was his siblings Jane [16] who was at Work at the Tin Mine, Heriot [12], Hemly [10], Elizabeth [8], William [5] (the last three all being Scholars) and her uncle Samuel [47] a Visitor.

Charles married Ann YEO (nee MEECH) in 1880 in Liskeard.

Ann YEO (nee MEECH) was born about 1840.

During the census on 3 April 1881 Charles [26] whose occupation was Lead Miner and Ann [38] were living in Barn Street, Cooks Row, Liskeard Old Municipal Borough, Liskeard, Cornwall, England. Living with them were a nephew Samuel Yeo [14] a Scholar and a niece Rosina Yeo [5], both of these were most likely children from Ann’s first marriage. (RG11/2285/165/42)

Ann died during 1900 in Liskeard.
