Emily BARNECUTT

352. Emily BARNECUTT, daughter of Joseph James BARNECUTT and Fanny HAWKEN, was born in 1872 in Fowey, St Austell, Cornwall.

Emily appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 aged 8. At this time, she was a Scholar. She was living with her mother Fanny [42] in Cobbs Well, Fowey.

Emily appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in St Austell aged 18. She was still living in Cobbs Well with her mother Fanny [53]. They also had a visitor with them a Margaret Barnecutt [11] a Scholar.

Emily appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 aged 27. At this time, she was a Hospital Nurse. She was living at Menabilly House, Menabilly, Tywardreath, St Austell, Cornwall, England. (RG13/2209/100/9)

During the census on 2 April 1911 Emily aged 39, whose occupation was Infirmary Sick Nurse was living in Clarendon Road and Tyde Terrace, Leeds, West Riding, Yorkshire, England. (RG14PN27042 RD500 SD3 ED61 SN326)

During 1912/1913 Emily whose occupation was Nurse, was admitted to the Royal Albert Hospital, Devonport, Devon on 3 occasions. The first was on 3 October 1912, the second was on 28 July 1913 and the third was on 6 December 1913.

Emily died on 3 June 1963 aged 90 years in the Royal Cornwall Infirmary, Truro, Cornwall, England. She was buried in the Green Lane Cemetery, Fowey, St Austell, Cornwall. From the 1963 Probate Calendar:
