Horace Jasper BARNECUT

342. Horace Jasper BARNECUT, son of Martin Luther BARNECUT and Jane BOWDEN, was born in 1890 in Liskeard.

Horace J appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 aged 1. He was living with his parents Martin L [47] a Tailor and Jane [43] in Trevelmond Village, Liskeard. Also, in the household were his siblings Hilda B [11], Mildred [9], Garfield [7], Bertie [6] all of whom were Scholars and Archibald [4].

Horace J appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 aged 11. He was living with his mother Jane [54] and siblings Blanche [21] and Garfield M [17] a Printer in Trevelmond, Liskeard.

During the census on 2 April 1911 Horace aged 21 and brother Archibald aged 24 who were both Farm Labourers, were in the household of John Tamblyn [36] a Farmer at Middle Bara Farm, Herodsfoot, St Keyne, Lanreath, Cornwall.

Sometime between the 1911 census and March 1916 Horace Jasper went to Australia and Like his brother Bertie Vivian I have been unable to find any reference to when on either Ancestry and Findmypast.

Horace Jasper enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 8 March 1916. Horace Jasper was a Prisoner of War from 11 April 1917. He was discharged on 19 May 1919.

Horace Jasper appeared in the Electoral Roll of 1922/25 in Wellington, Forrest, Western Australia, Australia at a place called Greenpools, Harvey and he was a Farmer.

In 1931/36/37/43 Horace Jasper and brother Berties both appeared in the Electoral Roll Wellington, Forrest, Western Australia, Australia at a place called Greenpools, and both of them were Farmers.

Horace Jasper appeared on the Electoral Roll in 1949/54/58 in Wellington, Canning, Western Australia, Australia, in Third Street, Harvey he was a Farmer. His brother Bert was also at the same address and he was now Retired.

Horace James (Jasper) died during 1971 aged 81 years in Wellington, Western Australia.
