Charles (Charlie) Lobb

Was most probably born during 1860. Charlie was baptised at Lanlivery, Bodmin, Cornwall on December 25th 1860. At the time of his baptism the family were living at Redmoor and his father was a Miner.

On 7th April 1861  Charles [7 months] was living with his parents Charles [35] a Miner and Elizabeth [28] and his siblings Mary Elizabeth [5]  and William Henry [4] at Redmoor, Lanlivery, Bodmin.

During the 1871 census Charles [10] was living with his parents Charles [43] a Groom, Elizabeth [38] and brother Richard [7 months] were living at Victoria Place, Lostwithiel, Bodmin. Also in the household at this time was a Mary Louise Wellcock [0] whose relationship is listed as Child Nurse.

In the census of 1881 on 3rd April  Charley [20] a Coach Builder was living with his parents Charles [54] a General Servant (Ag) and Elizabeth [47] a General Servant Wife and brother Richard [10] at Summerslane, Lanlivery, Bodmin. Also in the househild at this time were lodgers Polly Willcox [13] and John Crossman [21] a Blacksmith.
