Francis Olver

Was born about 1826. Francis was baptised in St Pinnock, Liskeard, Cornwall on April 16th 1826.

 Francis [4] his parents John [40]  and Sarah [38] and siblings  Thomas [16], William [12], Richard [10], Edmund [9], Elizabeth [8], Sarah [7], George [5], James [2] and Daniel [1] arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 20 June 1831. They travelled on the Ship Thames from London, England. John and Thomas were listed with an occupation of Agriculturist. The journey took about 7 weeks to complete.

On October 11th 1850 Francis [24] a Carpenter was in the household of Christopher Faatz [40] a Farmer and his family in Dyberry, Wayne, Pennsylvania, United States. Note: in this census Francis' name has been transcribed as Francis Olver Faatz on Ancestry.

Francis married a Caroline C FAATZ.

Caroline C FAATZ - was born on December 22nd 1830 in Pennsylvania, United States.

Francis died sometime before 1st May 1865 as this is the date that letters of Administrationwere granted:

Stephen Faatz } Administravtive Bond dated May 1st 1865 in the sum of one thousand Dollars lawful money of the United States Conditioned for the faithful performance of all and singular the duties of Administrator of the estate of Francis Olver late of the township of Dyberry deceased by Stephen Faatz to whom Letters of Administration have been granted he having complied with the requirements of the law.

On 5th June 1880 Caroline [49] Keeping house was living with her children Curtis [23] a Farmer, John [20], Ann [18] and Francis [15] in Dyberry, Wayne Pennsylvania, United States.

On June 11th and 12th 1900 Caroline C [69] was living with her daughter Ann J [38], son in law Thomas Burrows [43] a RR Laborer and granchildren Rupert O [17] and Adelia E [14] in Canaan, Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA.

On 15th April 1910 Caroline C [79] a House Keeper was living with her son Francis G [45] a Framer and grandchildren Wade C [18] a Laborer and Earl J [13] in North West Crystal Spring Road, Dyberry, Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA.

Caroline C died at the age of 83 years 3 months 4 days in Dyberry, Wayne, Pennsylvania on 25th February 1914. Cause of death was Chronic Brights Disease. She was buried in the Glass Factory Cemetery, Bethany, Wayne on 1st March.
