Edmund/Edward Colebrook

Was  born about 1819.

On 6th June 1841 Edmund Colbrook [20] was living with his father George [45] an Agricultural Labourer in Hayling, North, Havant, Hampshire. Also in the household was his sister Martha [12] and brother James [10].

Edmund married a Harriet FAY in St Faiths Church in the County of Southampton on 24 November 1845. The marriage was witnessed by Henry and Ann Fay.

Harriet FAY - was born about 1820 and was baptised in St Faiths Church, Havant on August 18th of that year.

During the 1851 census on 30th March Edmund [32] an Agricultural Labourer was in the household of George Rogers [35] a Fisherman in Hayling North, Havant, Hampshire.

Harriet [30] was with her mother Sarah [70] now a widow, children Charles [4], Edmund [3 months], brothers Richard [26] and Henry [21] both agricultural labourers and her uncle Robert [62] also an Agricultural Labourer in South Street, Havant, Hampshire.

On 2nd April 1871 Edward [52] an Agricultural Labourer and Harriet [50] his wife were living at Cottage, North Hayling, Havant, Hampshire with their children James [12] and Sarah [8].

During the 1881 census Edmund [62] an Agricultural Labourer and Harriet [60] were living in North Hayling, Havant, Hampshire.

On 5th April 1891 Edward [72] a Cow Keeper and Harriet [70] were living at Cottage, Main Road, North Hayling, Havant, Hampshire with their children Edward [40] a General Labourer and Charlotte [35].

Edmund died during the first quarter of 1897.

During the 1901 census on March 31st Harriet [80] was living with her daughter Charlotte [45] a Dairy Proprietor and granddaughter Gertrude Stockbred [13] in Stoke, North Hayling, Havant, Hampshire.

Harriet died aged 82 during 1903 and was buried at St Peters Church, North Hayling in the County of Southampton on 7th April of tha year.
