Anne Messem

Was may have been born during 1876. She was baptised at St Thomas' church in the Parish of Bedhampton on 4th February 1877. The ceremnony was performed by ? Arnold Curate of Westbourne. At the time of her baptism the family lived in Bedhampton and her father was a Gardener.

During the 1881 census on 5th April Anne [4] was living with her parents George [37] a Gardener Domestic Servant and Mary A [37] and her sisters Fanny [11] and Louisa [6] in 4 Snooks Cottage, Bedhampton, Havant, Hampshire.

On 5th April 1891 during the census Annie [14] a School Monitor was living with her parents George [46] a Gardener and Mary [46] a Cook at Upper Mill, Main Road, Bedhampton, Havant Hampshire.

Anne married a James Whitbread LLOYD on June 1st 1903 at St Thomas' Church in the Parish of Bedhampton in the County of Southampton. George and Fanny Messem were the witnesses to the marriage.

James Whitbread LLOYD -  was born about 1878.
