Florence Treleaven

Was born during 1886 in the Alverstoke area.

During the census of 1901 Florence Florence [14] was living with her sister Rosina [24] and her daughter Doris HR [2] at 35 Albert Street, Alverstoke.

Florence married a James Daniel JENKINS on 27th July 1907 at St Marys Church in the Parish of Alverstoke in the County of Southampton. James and Nellie Treleaven and George Maxwell were the witnesses to the marriage.

James Daniel JENKINS - was possibly born on 24th February 1884 in Salfaord, Lancashire.

In the census of 1911 Florence (Jenkins) [24] and children  Horace [2] and Norman [1] were living with Florences parents Henry [68] a Mariner and Emma siblings James [25] Seaman Royal Navy, Ethel [20], Charles [18] a Shipwright at 118 Avenue Road, Alverstoke.

In 1918, 1919 and the autumn of 1921 James Daniel and Florence were on the Electoral Register for the Polling Division of Gosport Newtown in the Parish of Alverstoke at 118 Queens Road, Gosport. In the 1921 spring register James was listed alone and in the 1920 register James was on the Absent Voters list being at the RN Barracks, Portsmouth.

Florence died during 1951 aged 65 years.
