651. Emma Louise FRANKLIN, daughter of George HARKNETT and Emma Louise FRANKLIN, was born on 29 August 1906 (date from 1939 Register).

At the age of 3 Emma Louise along with her parents George [29] and Emma Louise [30] and brother George [6] were admitted to St Olave’s Union on 24 February 1910. They were seeking relief due to being Destitute and her father being ill as well. Prior to entering they had been living at 1 Llewellyn Grove. Emma Louise and her brother were discharged on 25 February 1910 to Elmside. Her father was discharged on 28 February 1910 to T.S.W., her mother on 7 May 1910 to husband at T.S.W.

On 29 September 1939 Emma L whose occupation was Preparing Tin Foods was living with her parents a George Labourer Light Work and Emma L who was a Fruit Sorter at 26 Oliver House, London, Bermondsey, England. Living with them was her sister Violet R whose occupations was Preparing Tin Foods.

Emma L along with sister Violet R and brother Arthur appeared in the 1946 and 1948 Electoral Roll at 156 Elliot’s Row, Hayles Buildings, Southwark.

Emma L along with brother Arthur appeared in the 1950 Electoral Roll at 145 Elliot’s Row, Hayles Buildings, Southwark.
