Elizabeth Ann OLIVER

294. Elizabeth Ann OLIVER, daughter of Richard Charles OLIVER and Mary Ann BARNECUT, was born in 1862 in St Cleer. She was baptised on 26 Mar 1862 at her Parents House South Trekevie, St Cleer on the Liskeard Bible Christian Circuit.

Elizabeth Ann appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 aged 9 and at this time she was a Scholar. She was living with her parents Richard Charles [32] a Blacksmith and Mary Ann [32] in Common Moor, St Cleer, Liskeard, Cornwall, England. Living with them were her siblings Charlotte Honour [10], Nelly [7], Rosa [5], William Mallett [3] all of whom were Scholars and Shadwell [2].

Elizabeth A appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 aged 19 and her occupation was General Servant. She was in the household of a Henry W Thomas [34] a Veterinary Surgeon and his family at 85 Union Street, St Andrew, Plymouth, Devon, England. (RG11/2199/7/7)

Elizabeth Ann married a William Bailey COOMBE, location and date as yet unknown, but going on the 1900 US census it was about 1887 as apparently, they had been married 13 years by then and had had 9 children of whom 6 were still alive.
