Frederick Passells

Was born on 1st June 1863 at 13 Clock Street, Portsea Town, Portsea Island in the County of Southampton the son of George Passells a Waterman and Emma Varney.

In the 1871 census Frederick was [8] living with his parents and three siblings at 127 Queens Road, Portsea - The Bulls Head.

Frederick married Elizabeth Bargent during the December quarter of 1884 in the Portsea registration district.

Elizabeth BARGENT - no further information currently available.

In the 1891 census Frederick [28] a BOILER MAKER was living at 11 North Street, Portsea, Portsmouth with his wife Elizabeth [26], children Lily [6] a SCHOLAR, May [4], and Frederick [2]. Also boarding in the household was Albert BARGENT a BAKER.

During the 1901 census Frederick [39] a BOILERMAKER was living at 42 Fyning Street, Portsmouth with his wife Elizabeth [36] and children Lilly [15], May [14] and Frederick [12]. Also living with them as a boarder was Frederick Bargent [17] a BAKER JOURNEYMAN.

In the census of 1911 Frederick [48] a BOILERMAKER was living with his wife Elizabeth [46] and daughters Gladys [8] and Violet [7] at 45 Waltham Street, Fratton, Portsmouth. Also in the household was a boarder Lily Bryant [25], Fredericks grandson Reuben [6] and granddaughter Eva [4] Bryant, another boarder Frederick Hollings [25] a DRILLER SHIP WORK, his wife May [24] and their daughters Elsie [3] and Daisy [0].
