406. Claudio Booth SANDY, son of John SANDY and Malinda BARNECUTT, was born on 6 December 1892 in Ontario, Canada.

Clandis B appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 aged 8. He was living with his parents John [49] a Farmer and Malinda [48] in Manvers. Living with them were his siblings Olga O [18], Percelina [16], William JS [14] and Bessie M [11].

Claude appeared in the census on 1 June 1911 aged 18 he was a Laborer. He was living with his brother in law John [38] a Laborer and sister Ella [35] in Bridgenorth, Peterborough West, Ontario. Living with them were his niece Florence [17] and nephew Cecil [11].

Claude arrived in Detroit, Michigan, USA during April 1913.

Claude married Mina HENDERSON on 8 April 1914 in Detroit when he was 21 and she was 21. The marriage was witnessed by Mary J Young and Fayella Verotine.

Mina HENDERSON, daughter of Thomas HENDERSON and Sarah, was born about 1892 in Ontario, Canada.

During the census on 1 January 1920 Claude aged 29 whose occupation was Carpenter and Mina [27] were living at 478 Hillger Street, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. During the census on 1 April 1940 Claudio B aged 47 who was a Laborer and Mina [47] were living at 9114 Nottingham Street, Detroit. In the household with them were their children Claude J [21] a Laborer and Mildred [19] a Clerk. Claude died during March 1965.

Mina died on 6 November 1973 in Livonia, Wayne, Michigan.
