George Stalder

Was born on 23rd October 1842 at 1 David Street, in the District of  The Rectory of Marylebone in the County of Middlesex. Georges mother Ellen was the Informant, his fathers Rank or Profession was Cabinet Maker and Edward Joseph was the Registrar.

George marriet a Harriet SMITH on 29th December 1870 in Dalmeny, Scotland.

Harriet SMITH - was born on 18th April 1850 in Soutsea in the District of Landport and Southsea in the County of Southampton. Harriets mother Caroline was the Informant and her fathers Rank or Profeesion was Labourer.

On 2nd April 1871 during the census George [28] a Quartermaster RN and Hariet [20] a Dressmaker were living at West Terrace, High Street South Side, Queensferry, Linlith gowshire (West Lothian), Scotland.

During the 1881 census on 3rd April George [37] a Pensioner (Naval) and Harriet [30] Formerly a Laundress were living at 9 Holloway Street, Portsea, Portsea Island, Hampshire with their children Ann [9], Madda [2] and Georgina [4 months].

George died during 1889.

On 5th April 1891 now a widow Harriet [37] a Laundress was living in Buckingham street, Portsea, Portsea Island, Hampshire with her children Maria [12] and Lily [7]. There was also a lodger Charlotte Cross [63] a Needle Woman.

Harriet married either a Thomas William HISLOP or a Frederick WHITE during 1891.
