At St. Peter's Church of England. Darlinghurst, -on January 14 Miss Esma Doreen Tooker, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. A. Tooker. -of "Garrandeo." Johnston-street. Annandale was married to Mr. John Henry Middleton. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Middleton. of Darlinghurst. The Rev. W. T. Price officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father- wore a dress of satin grenade and georgette, and had a square train falling from the shoulders lined with pink georgette and ornamented with orange blossoms and pearls. Her bridal veil was arranged with' a circlet of orange blossoms. Miss Elsie Middleton and Miss Gwen Tooker were bridesmaids, wearing pale blue satin and georgette, and pink, satin and georgette respectively, with black picture hats trimmed with pink and blue posies and black, streamers. Mr. Arthur Middleton was best man, and Mr. Alf Middleton groomsman. The reception was held at “The Marlborough," where the bride's mother received her guests in a gown of grey taffeta worn with a toning hat. Later Mr. and Mrs. Middleton left for Blackheath on the honeymoon. The bride travelled in a smart grey gabardine costume and hat to "tone”.
