Amelia Websell 1889500. Amelia WEBSELL, daughter of Albert Henry WEBSELL and Amelia BARNECUT, was born on 12 February 1889 in Indiana, United States.

Amelia appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 aged 12. She was living with her step father Fred Welch [46] a Coal Miner Hewer (Underground) and mother Amelia [37] at 21 Middle Wood Road, Shankhouse, Cramlington. Also, in the household was her sister Rhoda [14] and step brother William J Welch [25] also a Coal Miner Hewer (Underground) and step sisters Hilda M [7] and Florence [3].

Amelia a School Teacher Assistant aged 22 appeared in the census on 2 April 1911. She was a boarder in the household of John Edward (a Pattern Maker) and Elizabeth Ann Wardle both aged 37 at 1 Burswell Avenue, Hexham, Northumberland, England. (RG14PN30928 RG78PN1768 RD561 SD2 ED19 SN38)

Amelia married Lewis H RIDLEY on 24 August 1917.

Lewis Herdman RIDLEY, was born on 20 November 1885.
