Frederick WILCE

211. Frederick WILCE, son of John WILCE and Emma WEARY, was born on 1 January 1871 in St Neot. He was baptised on 4 August 1872 in St Neot, Liskeard, Cornwall, England.

During the census on 3 April 1881 Frederick aged 9, was living with his parents John [45] a Farm labourer and Emma [40] at Jericho. Living with them were his siblings George aged 19 a Farm Labourers Son, Bessie 12, Lydia [11], Albert [7], Clara [6], Lora [2] and Amelia [3 weeks].

Frederick appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 aged 19. His occupation was Tin Miner. He was living with his mother Emma [50] at Jericho, St Neot. Living with them were his siblings Lydia [20] a General Domestic Servant, Albert [17] a Tin Miner, Laura [12] and Amelia [10] a Scholar.

Frederick married Eda Mary JOINT on 21 January 1904 in Plymouth.

Eda Mary JOINT, was born in July 1878 in Totnes, Devon, England.

During the census on 2 April 1911 Frederick aged 39 an Engine Driver Boiler and Eda Mary [32] an Attendant in Flock Mill were living at Brent Mill, South Brent, Devon, England. Eda May died in September 1919 in Plympton, Devon, England.

On 29 September 1939 Frederick who was a Navvy Road Worker & Old Age Pensioner was living in the household of his daughter Gwendoline Stewart, whose occupation was Unpaid Domestic Duties at 23 Francis Street, Plymouth C.B., Devon, England.
